THE COACHES
Two Coaches.
One Philosophy:
Run for a Lifetime.
Every athlete gets a plan built around their life, their goals, and their trails — backed by real ultra racing experience.

Kylie Aldaz
OWNER, DESERT TO PEAK COACHING
RRCA LEVEL 1 • UESCA ULTRARUNNING COACH
Colorado-raised and now calling Phoenix, Arizona home, Kylie began her running journey in 2010 as a way to navigate the loss of her mother and overcome addiction. What started as a path toward healing led her to her first 5K in 2012 and first ultramarathon in 2017, and she hasn't looked back since. A proud mom, partner to a fellow ultrarunner, and full-time professional at the University of Arizona, Kylie understands the challenges of balancing training, parenting, career, and everyday life. She coaches from the belief that success looks different for every runner, and her goal is to help athletes build confidence, trust themselves, and discover what they're truly capable of both on and off the trail.

Luke Watkins
UESCA ULTRARUNNING COACH • ACSM-EP
Luke's endurance journey started in high school and carried him through collegiate competition in South Dakota before the trails pulled him in for good. He holds a B.S. in Wellness Management and an M.S. in Human Movement, pairing exercise science with two decades of racing everything from 50Ks to the Cocodona 250 — and the firsthand understanding of balancing training with real life.
PHILOSOPHY
"This is your journey — and we're here to help you dream big, reach your full potential, and be inspired to run for a lifetime."
